Explore a cosmopolitan city, food market and discover The Americas

Join your tourist guide on an adventurous journey into Modern San Juan.  Capture the beauty of a tropical cosmopolitan city with your camera.  This tour is ideal for those interested in sightseeing the city, food, cultural events combined with shopping.

Visit the most popular avenue in Puerto Rico on board a comfortable air conditioned vehicle. Your guide will show you and provide information on the 1800's, Californian style, Art Deco and modern buildings. As you're heading for the financial district known as "The Gold Mile", you will see the modern architecture.

Blend with the locals at a century's old food market in the center of the most successful capital in the Caribbean.  Savor a tropical fruit juice or shake.  Enjoy a cup of coffee, local beer, cold coconut, or rum drink at the food market in the midst of the tall buildings.

Shop at the largest mall in the Caribbean.  Yes, we have a booklet full with discount coupons! The Puerto Rican culture dictates a store must have a sale; this requirement is so strong, that large US chain stores had to adapt to survive. Arts & crafts and souvenirs stores available. Many boutiques and high-end stores also available. Upon arrival to the mall, you will also be greeted with a mall directory and a gift.

Not a shopper, you will have fun watching the shows and looking at the weekly exhibitions, blending with the locals and see the unique architecture and art your tour guide will show you.

Visit the Ponce Art Museum - This unique exhibition celebrates the museum's 50th anniversary. "Half a century looking into the future" starts April 20 until Dec 31, 2009

You decide what and where to have lunch at the over 40 places to get a snack or a meal that satisfy all level of budgets.  Most restaurants and cafeterias have discount coupons in the booklet.

A US postal office available, so you can mail home what you buy, be hands free during your vacation and save money at the airport for the additional luggage.

Finally, end your adventure where you started.

Tour survey comments:  Our group especially liked the Streetscapes tour of contemporary San Juan, seeing the museums and the art. The choice of Jam for lunch was inspired! Debbie's familiarity with the parts of the city, its history and the special corners that could be so easily missed or by-passed made our private tour all we hoped it would be. Her good humor and knowledge of Old San Juan made navigating our walking through the city during San Sebastian a treat. She is a gifted guide, and we enjoyed her energy and careful attention to our interests. A wonderful day was had by all four of us. Tour Survey comments:  Thank you very much for a wonderful 5 hour tour you gave us. I had been to San Juan before and was not impressed, but after this tour and the presentation Debbie gave us I have changed my mind. Sincerely Jim Bastian, USA - February 15, 2005 - Radisson Diamond, cruise ship.

This was an excellent and very interesting experience. I learned a lot about the modern San Juan. I really felt that I got the feel of San Juan for the first time ( I have been to San Juan on 4 other occasions). Debbie was terrific, well informed and very personable. She made the tour. I will highly recommend this tour to my friends that visit Puerto Rico. I probably will take it again next year when I visit again. Herbert Miller, USA, March 12, 2005, Hotel Guest.
