1. Will the tour take place if it rains?

Yes. The tour takes place inside a restaurant where the locals socialize and enjoy great food.

3. Are private and/or group tours available?
Yes. Please send us an e-mail to let us know how many people are in your group and what date you are interested in. A quotation and cancellation policies will be sent for your approval and confirmation.
4. Are vegetarian dishes included?
Yes. We have 1 vegetarian dish of the 4 family style dishes.
5. Will we get full with the tapas family style dishes included in the tour rate?
Yes. We will be serving 4 family style dishes, a desert with 2 different rum cocktails and 1 rum shot.
Yes. However, we serve plenty of food and rum cocktails. You would pay the additional food you order. Everyone that have taken the tour had been very satisfied with the amount of food served.
Yes. Your companion may have a juice, soda or water instead of the rum cocktail. You will be charged the regular rate even if your companion does not do the rum tasting.
8. I am not staying at a hotel and I have a rental car. Where can I meet the group?
Park the car at a parking lot in Old San Juan.

We recommend a designated driver or taking a taxi; in other words, the driver should not drink alcohol.
9. I am a cruise ship passenger visiting the San Juan port for a limited amount of hours. Can I walk to the hotel or need to take the transportation option?
We recommend the cruise ship passengers to walk to the restaurant or take a taxi following the directions provided on your tour voucher.
Most of the transit ship docks in Old San Juan. In case you have walking limitations or docking at the Pan-American Pier, it is recommended to take a taxi.
10. What is coquito?
Coquito is a traditional sweet milky rum drink. It is mostly served on the holidays; however, some Puerto Rican families enjoy it through out the year during social events.
