TOUR DESCRIPTION:

'San Juan Nights' is a rum and food tasting dinner experience extraordinaire!  Enjoy the social island life of this 16th century Spanish Colonial city - Old San Juan. Join us and get acquainted  with the rum and food culture of Puerto Rico.  As the evening progresses, your guide will teach you how to taste and differentiate between 12 different types of rum, served between each course of 'family style' food.

Puerto Rico is the Rum Capital of the World! Your guide will entertain you with historical and cultural stories and tales along with the dinner and rum tasting  experience. Our tour was designed with quality uppermost in our minds, not quantity. We have a maximum of 12 persons and a minimum of 4.  You must be over 25 years of age to participate.

Choose one option when making a reservation:

1. Include roundtrip transportation - $95, plus sales tax
2. No transportation included.  Meet the tour guide at the restaurant indicated in your tour voucher. - $75, plus sales tax

Hours:
* 3 hours with rum tasting, diner and round trip transportation
* 2 hours rum tasting with diner only

Meeting location with transportation:  Round trip transportation from the following hotels at the Condado, Isla Verde and Old San Juan. Walk to the nearest hotel to meet with the driver: Condado Plaza, La Concha, Marriot, El San Juan, Holiday Inn, Ritz Carlton.  The pick up begins at hotels in Isla Verde at 5:30PM

Meeting the tour guide at the restaurant: Instructions in how to meet with the tour guide at the restaurant provided on the tour voucher.

Food and drinks included:  Food (five (5) "family" style plates and 1 "coquito" as desert), 12 different rum samples during the tasting; in addition, Puerto Rico's traditional rum shot and 4 different preselected rum cocktails

Dress Code:  Wear semi casual attire.  NO shorts, NO sleeveless shirt, NO T-shirts, NO sandals

Tour ends at the hotel.

Weather:  Tour takes place rain or shine.

Included: Services provided by a tourist guide, gratuity for waiters and bartenders. Rums and souvenir courtesy from Rums of Puerto Rico.
