Rum tasting with authentic Puerto Rican foods.

Join us and get acquainted with the rum and food culture of Puerto Rico at a theme restaurant in Old San Juan.

As the evening progresses, your guide will teach rum tasting techniques while you learn how to differentiate between the types of rum, accompanied by foods served for centuries in a typical Puerto Rican household.

Your Puerto Rican guide will entertain you with historical and cultural facts and tales along with the food and rum tasting experience.

You will become a bartender and prepare your rum cocktail from scratch.

Review

This is the second time I did this tour, first time for my sister. Food was a little different and delicious, cocktails were different or presented differently so it was new and interesting once again. This is a must do in San Juan with Debbie.

  3. The currency use for our transactions is the United States dollar.
  4. Schedule: Altantic time
    • Hours: 1 and 30 minutes, sitting at a restaurant.
    • Lunch: 1PM (Tuesdays, Thursday, Fridays)
    • Dinner: 6PM (Sundays, Wed, Fridays)
  5. Group size: 8 to 16
  6. Dress Code: Wear semi casual attire. NO shorts, NO sleeveless shirt, NO T-shirts, NO beach or sports sandals
  7. Tour is wheelchair friendly.
  8. Meeting location: Restaurant. The address will be included in the e-booking confirmation.
  9. Tour ends: Restaurant
  10. Language: English or Spanish
  11. Does not include: Transportation.

  • Most of the transit cruise ships docks in Old San Juan.
  • In case you have walking limitations or docking at the Pan-American Pier, it is recommended to take a taxi.
  • The restaurant address will be provided on the E-booking confirmation.
  • Yes we do. Your booking confirmation includes the physical address. Use your favorite APP for a map and/or GPS coordinates.
    There are three (3) parking lots on the same street where the restaurant is located. Walk to the restaurant following the directions provided on your E-tour voucher. We recommend a designated driver or taking a taxi; in other words, the driver should not drink alcohol.
